First Ultrasound

Just thought I would let you all know we had our first ultrasound today. It was to tell me exactly how far along I am. I am 8 weeks tomorrow and due Januray 9th. The baby is just a blob at this point, but we got to take some pictures from the ultrasound home with us. We also got to hear the babies heartbeat. Shane went with me and I think he was in shock afterwards. I don't look pregnant; I am just sick a lot of the time. I don't smoke or really drink, so our lifestyle has not changed much and the fact that I have a baby in my belly really has not hit him- until today. He is very proud and was beaming afterward- it was cool.
